This month's Vanity Fair (the one w/Johnny Depp on the cover & interview with him inside) also has a really interesting Courtney Love interview where even the interviewer admits that although Courtney is incredibly intelligent, fascinating and talented she is also very difficult to be around/deal with. Also got the latest issue of Vintage Life magazine - I like the way they do try and expand their stuff beyond the standard 40s/50s retro things so they had Margot from the Royal Tenenbaums as a style icon plus 1920s flapper brides and the make-up/hair Q + A was geared towards those with dark skin and afro/curly hair which made a nice change as I ( Read more... )

Got a new magazine, Burlesque Bible in WH Smiths yesterday (well, it's classed as a bookazine i.e. has more pages/is more expensive than a standard magazine). I really enjoyed it and thought they'd done a great job of it - over 100 pages and all in full-colour with loads of great photos ( Read more... )

I got a digital camera off one of my brothers for my birthday tomorrow. I have managed to take photos (admittedly not very good photos but still actual, genuine photos) and I'm going to sit down at the weekend and figure out how you upload them to the computer so eventually I can start posting stuff on flickr or wherever ( Read more... )
